Tucker is a 6 month old Black German Shepherd Mix. He made his way to New York from Kentucky where he was an owner surrender. He was adopted as an 8 week old and returned because the owner "did not have enough time" Tucker is incredibly smart and already knows how to sit, stay.

Sonny is a very sweet 8-10 month old German Shepherd dog. He has made his way up here from Kentucky where he was turned in by his owners because they could not afford to feed him.

Adopted 12/20/08 I’m Leah. I am a young purebred German Shepherd Dog. Big Dogs Big Hearts took me in from a local shelter/humane society in Rochester NY.

Hannah - Adopted 12/19/08 She is a beautiful 8 month old, 48 lbs Norwegian Elkhound/Shepherd mix. She is every bit a busy body and LOVES to receive attention. Her little body is always on the move, wigglin' around and her curly Q tail is always wagging at full speed.

Adopted 12/10/08 Shamus is a German Sheperd / Collie mix. He was recently turned in to a local humane society because his family abandoned him. Shamus is both housebroken and crate trained.

Baron is an extremely handsome 18 month old purebred German Shepherd. He has made his way up here to New York from Kentucky where he was surrendered by his owners.

Abby is a purebred female German Shepherd Dog, ("GSD") who is estimated to be between 3-5 years old. Abby found herself a stray in the York, SC Animal Shelter - a kill shelter.

You have all been a very key part of helping us give 156 homeless dogs, loving forever homes (from January2009 - December 2009) - two of our rescue dogs were even adopted out together - Dodger and June!!
